One $500 scholarship will be awarded; the scholarship recipient will be notified by October 31, 2023. This is a one time payment issued to the scholarship recipient and one individual may only receive the scholarship 2 times from the Northumberland County Fair. The scholarship will be awarded in November – the scholarship recipient is encouraged to be present to accept the scholarship as pictures would be appreciated.
Scholarship recipient will be determined based on review of application and response to questions. ln the event of needing to break a tie to determine the scholarship recipient prioritization may be given to a field of study which supports the continuation of future fairs.

Requirements
1. Applicants must be accepted to a degree or certification program at a college, university, trade or technical school and submit proof of enrollment (acceptance letter, grades from previous semester or current tuition bill)
2. Applicants must be a prior exhibitor at the Northumberland County Fair; must note what was exhibited and what year the exhibit was entered at the fair.
3. Applicants must complete all sections of the application or the application will not be considered.
